There’s probably been a point in your life when you decided to have a drink with your brunch (or really any meal of the day). Imagine opening your fridge on a weekend morning to find you have one bottle left of your favorite cider, but, it’s 11 am. And soon after you realize you only have bread and eggs...French Toast it is!
We decided to pair French Toast from a local bakery, New Morning Bakery, with The Bad Apple. The meadowfoam honey in The Bad Apple has strong notes of vanilla which pairs perfectly with the deliciousness that is french toast. There’s something about the fluffy yet crunchy texture, hints of cinnamon and nutmeg that reminds you of a simpler time. Add a drizzle of syrup and some powdered sugar and you’re on track for a killer brunch. But for real, cinnamon and honey...what could go wrong?
